Pull Requests are not so scary

Pull Requests can seem intimidating

We maintain a lot of quite popular open source projects. This is not to brag, but to give an indication that sometimes this can unfortunately get a little overwhelming.

Whenever a new pull request comes in, the first reaction can be to think that we just don't have time right now to look at it, because it's probably really tricky or requires a lot of thought.

Lately We've tried to go back to our old habits of checking on them every day and this has proved really beneficial. As it turns out, most are simple changes, documentation improvements, or badly needed bug fixes that people could have been benefiting from!

So next time we see a pull request, we're going to resist the urge to save it for later, and just give it a look. And then probably merge it straight away.
